El partido ante Academia, que marcaba el reinicio del Torneo Postobón 2010, resultó un encuentro complicado que se tuvo que definir por medio de una genialidad en un cobro de pelota quieta. El equipo bogotano le apostó a impedir el juego pastuso y mantener los ceros en el marcador, ayudados por un concierto de pito a cargo del central Jesús García del departamento del Valle. Sobre el minuto 77, Gilberto "Alcatraz" García anotaría el único y definitivo gol del partido que ubica a Deportivo Pasto en la tercera posición de la tabla del campeonato.
Importante triunfo teniendo en cuenta la ausencia obligada de varios hombres importantes en la campaña que adelanta el equipo pastuso; sin embargo, resultó valioso el aporte de hombres como VIllota, Rendón, Rengifo e incluso de Jhonatan Palau y Diego Martínez, quienes jugaron como delanteros improvisados, a sabiendas de que sus posiciones naturales son volante de marca y arquero respectivamente.

I have spoken on this issue in years past. Understanding how they use the political encviornment to redefine people's value system, realize anyone who speaks of the old world and its ways will envoke hatred. So when/if the Anti-Christ comes along speaking of reverting back to what liberalism would consider repressed and immoral may be the only hope to salvage the god's favor and keep moving forward rather than begin the 1000 year clock. The fake Second Coming will feed into this political enviornment.
